Construction The housing is constructed from a lightweight glass-reinforced epoxy composite material with a contiguous interior metal-plated coating. The unit is hermetically sealed with a metal-to-metal solder joint providing stability during changes in temperature and humidity. The solar array is encapsulated in silicone and covered with a polycarbonate window for added durability.

Our 45g Transmitter uses the same larger battery as our 50g and 70g GSM transmitters, allowing it to transmit more frequently for a longer duration on a single battery charge. Its robust design is notable for preventing feather coverage of the solar arrays and withstanding harsh environments.
