Fish Tag Constant Depth Release Feature — additional information

Depth variations less than twenty meters are regarded as "constant depth" by the Archival Pop-up Tag.

The constant depth release feature programming is more flexible in the X-Tag. The X-Tag's standard constant depth setting is 3 meters for 4 days, however the depth band and the time-at-depth can be adjusted as needed. The minimum programmable time-at-depth is 1 day; the maximum time-at-depth is 15 days.

X-Tags can be programmed with a delay of up to 127 days post-deployment before the tag starts using the depth readings for the constant depth release feature.
