PTT-100 95 gram
The 95 gram PTT uses the same well
proven electronics of our other
PTTs, but has room for large batteries.
The 95g version of the PTT-100 is the largest model of our PTT-100 series of Argos compatible transmitters. It uses the largest capacity batteries which give up to 2000 hours transmission lifetime. However, when equipped with the new Lix2™ power supply, the lifetime may be extended to up to 4000 hours of transmissions. It can be programmed for extended lifetimes of up to five years. It has been used by researchers throughout the world on species of birds in the 2 kg and larger range. It is particularly suitable for the study of large raptors, and it can be used to follow both the spring and fall migrations of many species. This model can be supplied with either the single or multi-season NANO duty cycle timer.
